Pink Quartz Riser

Pink quartz owes its surreal coloration to the trace presence of iron, manganese or titanium. It was first discovered in Minas Gerais, Brazil, although contested by it being also found around the same time in the state of Maine, US. Relatively new in jewelry and decorative objects when compared to milky and crystal quartz, it has gained popularity in the recent decades for its ascribed healing properties. Pink quartz is very rarely found in crystals, it is found in matrix form. At number 7 in the mohs hardness scale, it can be cut into pieces of considerable size, but it requires a delicate hand to polish. 

We cut a solid stone riser from pre-selected chunks of pink quartz from Madagascar ore to add to our collection of risers, to display our candles and to also protect precious surfaces in your home. 
A selection process that starts when large chunks are mined, these chunks are later cut in a step-by-step process to bring out the best qualities and coloration, to arrive at one-of-a-kind pieces. Not two are alike due to their color and veins variations.
