Amethyst. One of the most beautiful materials found on Earth. Produced in volcanic rock cavities with deposits of silica, the purple color comes from trace amounts of iron reacting to irradiation.
Greeks used amethyst for protection against drunkenness, out of all things! Until the XVIII Century it was part of the cardinal stones, due to its scarcity, when deposits were found in Brazil, its value decreased considerably, and it is today considered a semiprecious stone.
We cut a solid single-piece of amethyst from Uruguay into candle riser in a custom size to display our Luxury Scented Candles, and to provide a luxurious protection for your delicate surfaces at home. It is a one-of-a-kind piece, no two are alike due to the natural veins and changes in stone structure.

- Keep away from direct sunlight and sources of heat.
- Wipe with a dry, soft cloth.
- Fingerprints and other small stains can be wiped with a soft cloth dabbed in a solution of 1:5 white vinegar in water.
- Do not leave a burning candle alone on top of the riser.
