Element Orchid Inspiration and Aromatic Profile

The inspiration for Element Orchid are the Dendrobium nobile and Cattleya trianae species, famous for not only their beauty but also for their fragrance.

Dendrobium nobile grows in the wild in many regions of the world. Originally from Southeast Asia, it has become naturalized in South America and is a very popular ornamental. Under the right subtropical conditions, specimens attain immense sizes, and their fragrance is carried by the breeze on warm evenings.

Cattleya trianae is endemic to Colombia and it's their national flower. It grows in cloudy forests at 1500 to 2000 meters above sea level.

Created from a headspace analysis of the fragrance, the effect of live flowers in this perfume is remarkable and as diffusive as the live flowers themselves.
